Konstantin
Nevretdinov is the producer and the only performer of a unique
number "Tap Dance
on Hands". He dances tap in handstand position.
For performance of this number, the actor has invented special
boots to dance on hands. This "handware" allows
to use the technique of the tap dance on hands as well as
on feet.
In this number the performance of acrobatic
tricks, sprockets and twines is demonstrated, and masterly
and rhythmically fulfilled.
To create this number Konstantin worked more than 8 years.
He was born in theatrical family, and since the age of 5 years
participated in a number of New Year's shows at The State
Children's Musical Theatre.
His training in sports gymnastics and studying at The State
Circus School have given him sound professional basis. He
has learned the trades of producing numbers and direction
of shows on the Faculty of production of the Russian Academy
of Theatrical Art.
So his dream to perform popular throughout the world tap dance,
but head over heels, tapping on hands came true. And once
again he has proved to himself and to all of us, that there
is nothing impossible for a man.
Konstantin Nevretdinov has performed this number on the best
concert stages of Moscow. He has participated in more than
a dozen of shows arranged by Central Russian Television, such
as "Good Evening", "Owl's Time", "All
Stars Cabaret", "Segodnyachko", "News
on the Roof", "Good Morning", "Vesty",
"Smehopanorama", "Day by Day", "All
is Possible", "Shire krug ", "100%",
German Television ("Traumtanzer-Variete 1999"),
Program "todo es Baile" at TV Channel 13 in Chile,
etc. His number "Tap Dance on Hands" is shown in
a feature film "The Returning of the battle-ship"
(directed by Poloko).
He has performed his dance in a number of countries, including
Japan, New Zealand, Slovenia, Austria (The first Austrian
tap dance festival " Vienna salutes Fred Astaire"),
Germany (Variety show G.O.P.) and many other countries.
He was also invited to St.
Louis Tap Festival organized by Robert L. Reed in USA
in August 2000. In 2001 and in 2003 was invited Christel de
Reus for performing to "ROYAL
DUTCH TAPDANCE HUMAN RHYTHM FESTIVAL" in Netherlands.
Konstantin participate on the 3rd international tapdance festival
Berlin "Tap as Tap can" and on The New York City
Tap Festival "TAP
CITY 2002".
Since 1994, Konstantin has professionally been teaching tap
dance. He is co-founder and teacher of the Russian
School of American Tap dance in Moscow. His pupils are
participants and prizewinners of International festivals of
tap dance in Russia and abroad.
For more than 5 years he has been teaching tap dance on a
Faculty of the Musical theatre and Faculty of the Variety
show of the Russian Academy of Theatrical Art (GITIS).
Having graduated from Magistracy he is a tutor of the Circus
Producer Faculty of the Russian Academy of Theatrical Art.
Konstantin Nevretdinov produces and organizes Tap Dance Show
with the
best Russian tap dancers.
